Sandwiches are life. Whether you're trying to reach a weight loss goal, feed an exercise routine, or keep up with your hungry kids, I think we can all agree: snacks. are. lifetime.
In honor of the National Ants on a registration day (yes, it's a holiday!), I'm sharing six fun new ideas for the classic children's snack. With a variety of tasty and sweet options, there is something for everyone:
- Tuna salad
- Peanut Butter And Raspberries
- Guacamole and Pickled Jalapeños
- Goat Cheese Herbed and Salami
- Peanut Butter and Dried Cherries
- Hummus and cherry tomatoes
Jacob's favorite was peanut butter with dried cherries, but my oldest son loved the tuna salad ants on a log! Either way, one thing is for sure: They make the ideal after-school or lunch snack.
Feel free to get creative and mix and match with your own favorite ingredients. Celery is the perfect low-calorie, high-fiber container to fill with protein-packed ingredients (hello hummus!) To create a healthy snack that won't cause a sugar spike.
What are your favorite ants in a registration ingredient? I would love to hear your creative ideas! Forks are not required.
